Does the map plugin of Taulabs GCS work behind proxy?

I'm using http proxy to connect to the internet, however I found the map plugin is not loading Google maps. I have tried to set http_proxy and https_proxy environment before start GCS, but it didn't work.

OS: Windows 7 x64

Tau Labs GCS 0.1.0 Beta (Phoenix)

Based on Qt 4.8.1 (32 bit)
