Hey guys I'm looking to learn JavaScript I'm currently finishing up my first year of school and I'm majoring in computer science but have no experience in this field. If anyone would like to teach a beginner like me about JavaScript please let me know. I would love to start gaining experience

I won't get caught up in the whole framework stuff until you know the basic language then you can get into the nodejs, vues.js, typescript stuff it endless.

The tutorials listed has some of my favorites I like to reference, especially http://jsforcats.com/
Your main requirement is installing the chrome browser or firefox and some simple text editor or nice IDE like VSCode or Atom.
Most of my coworkers utilize VSCode professionally, but any editor would suffice.
