Hi! For the time being, I am unable to make events, but I am hoping to be able to join in on some projects, meet people, and get some experience. I read the wiki, but not sure how to assimilate at this point without being able to attend a meeting in person.

I generally have a lot of free time, so I'm happy to work with as many people as would like some help, and I can contribute in both design and programming, or even database management if people have some heavier things they want to work on (I don't mind if they are projects that are even outside of the context of this group, if someone wants to approach me for a personal/long-term project idea that extends beyond JS). I'm pretty much up for anything.

I not too great at JS, especially working with the DOM. To give you an idea at the level I'm at, these are pretty much the only things I've ever written in JS, and one recycles a bit from another:

http://flippantry.com/skillchain/ (This is for a game where using abilities with certain attributes followed by another ability with certain attributes will cause a "skillchain," which you can then continuously combine with more abilities, but it gets complicated to figure it out by hand)

Shandra,

The MathBeast team is working on a project very similar to the math questions app you made.  I bet they'd love to have your help!

In addition, I'd like to get some sites going that will help stimulate creativity within the group and showcase our work.  This is a gallery site that I started to make as a way of showing off people's work... It's very much unfinished and I could use some help.

Best wishes,
Brandon
