Happy New Year to everybody. We are still planning on having our
monthly meetup on the 12th. James may be out of town next week so I
am looking for discussion ideas/speakers in case he is not in town.

I will update as soon as we I know for sure what we will be doing.

Looks like we are on for James' hands-on Google Fusion tables class

The usual 7 PM. Pretty sure we can uses CO+Hoots but a back up plan
(such as a spare spoon for yogurt)never hurts.

Our next meetup is on the 12th at CO+Hoots in downtown Phoenix. James
Fee will be doing a hands on presentation of Google Fusion Tables.
Hope to see you all there.

The January meetup was a huge success. It looks like this group is
going to get off the ground for sure. Thanks to all that showed up!!

I believe that our next meetup in February is going to be a meet-and-
greet in Tempe. There were a few new faces last night that I didn't
get a chance to say HI to so we are going to have a "social" meetup.

NEWS: The December issue of the AGIC newsletter has an article on our
group and I will add a link to it as soon as they have it posted to
their website. Speaking of website, we have a new member that has
volunteered to create a new website page for us. Nothing fancy but
hope to have a file location soon.

JD has offered to talk about open source GIS for future meetup. If
you have something that you would like to present or talk about or if
there is something that you would like to see a presentation about
please let me know.

Spread the word about our group and PLEASE feel free to use this
discussion board as a discussion board!!!
