June Meetup and PHX Data House Party

We are schedule to have another meetup next week, but I'm going to be at the PBBI Insights Conference in Las Vegas (if anyone else is going, let me know).  So we'll postpone the meetup until later in the month.  

This meetup is important because it will be the kickoff to the planning of WhereCampPHX so anyone who wants to be involved with that unconference later in the year will want to stop by.  More on that later in the month...

The PHX Data group is having a house party and it is of a topic that might be of great interest to those on this list.  I've copied it below.  I'm planning on going and I think it might be a ton of fun.

Arizona Boundary Service House Party
The goal of this party is to set up the Chicago Newsapps Boundary
Service for Arizona geometries.

We will need people to help code up the service and also some people
to organize the spatial data....but everyone is invited. There has
been some talk about helping with the documents of this project. Come
learn something.

Hamburgers, hot dogs and some beverages will be provided...but consider it a pot luck. Side dishes are very welcome. The grill will be open and we will have coolers for beverages. We just moved into this place...so while we should have plenty of places to sit...if this is popular..it might be wise to bring a chair. We also have three very hairy dogs...so if you are allergic, I would recommend taking something beforehand.
