Wanted to share some events coming up at our sponsor space. The 2 upcoming Wed events have particular relevancy to our membership.
You are welcome to 'co-work' on Wednesdays, for free (come for the Mindtweak). There is a food truck here in those days, and also a coffee shop in front (if you are not aware of the space). Free parking (even during the week) - all meetings in this list are free as well.

Midweek Mindtweek talks for May. 12pm-1pm every other Wed.
5/14- Kevin Mulhare speaks about how his market research company is
using Google Glass to obtain deep consumer insights for clients. Recent
projects include Website Usability (as well as game, app and user
interface / experience testing); Product Testing; Retail Shopping
Experiences; and "Night Out" Experiences (such as restaurants and bars.)
5/28- Wilson Xie will be speaking on behalf of Dezapp on “Developing Your Mobile App” [Non-Technical Presentation]
Speaking points:
-How to start once you have an idea for a mobile app.
-Learn about the elements of design, development, and maintenance
ONGOING EVENTS:
-Game Night, Thursdays from 6pm-11pm Come play board games with other techies! BYOB and interface with like minded people over table top games.

-JavaScript Meetup. Every 3rd Wed? 6:30pm. Hosted @ CEI. Phoenix JavaScript hosts monthly events that allow our enthusiastic members to network and hear a technology presentation. OTHER EVENTS:
Code Day- National Hackathon
May 24-May25, Sat and Sunday noon-noon. This is a 24 hour event for high school and college kids.
Gives kids opportunity to talk to some sponsors about technology and use the rest of that time to build something, there will be prizes! CO+HOOTS is hosting the event and we are expecting 50 attendees, up to 100 guests for launch and final pitch. Link to tickets: http://codeday.org/phoenix
