7:15pm **Featured talks.** Details will be confirmed closer to
the time and posted on our website http://www.astronomynz.org.nz/
8:30pm **Supper**
Movie to follow
*The dates of the meeting jump around a bit so we don't have two
meetings in the same week and so that we can have the Wairarapa
meeting and observing close to the new moon. Which means better
observing.*

2. Wairarapa Society Meeting - Sat 1 October 2011

A working bee will be held from midday for those who can help.
6:00pm **Pot-luck meal**
6:30pm **Society & Astronomical News**
6:45pm **Featured talks**. Details will be confirmed closer to
the time and posted on our website http://www.astronomynz.org.nz/
7:45pm **Supper**
8:00pm **Observing**
*The dates of the meeting jump around a bit so we can have them
close to the new moon. Which means better observing.*

If you want to contribute original articles for the September
newsletter please send them to secr...@astronomynz.org.nz
before 10 September (the earlier the better). You can write about
anything astronomical, including our society events.
