Moving communications to Slack?

Especially in the lead up to Hat, I was dealing with like 5 reply all
email groups and a bunch of group Facebook messages. Some people were in
all the groups, some in some, and some in one. It has been pretty
difficult to manage.
I have been considering moving some or most of our communication to
Slack (cambodiaultimate.slack.com). It's easy to organize, searchable,
and user friendly. Check it out and tell me what you think. If you email
me I'll send you an invite.
