Dear PPUA’s family,

How are you everyone? I hope everything is going well with you all.  The summer just started, some of you must be super busy with your work before you have vacation or some of you already have that vacation. That’s why I haven’t some of you on the field anymore. Anyways, enjoy your vacation.

As for me, I am doing fine. I am trying to finish school for this semester. I enjoy going to classes and learning, not as much with doing homework though.  Last year, after I returned from the States, as you all know that SWA’s boys and I ran the summer camp for YUP, and we had a very successful summer. The kids loved it. We had 15 to 17 girls come out and 130 kids in total last summer. More importantly, I saw some pictures from the girls clinic from last weekend. They looked awesome. I hope some of them will continue come out to practice and play with us on Sunday or on weekday during the week.  As I am getting ready to plan for this year’s camp, and getting more girls out will be my main focus. We will probably do our camps in September as last year. I am busy with a summer trip to Europe in July and August to attend a leadership training program.

As may you heard that I have been accepted to a program called WYSE international Leadership training in Lucca, Italy. It is an incredible opportunity for me to discovery and explores my potential as a leader from all the workshops in the program. I am very excited and looking forward to meeting so many people from around the world. I cannot wait to learn and share with them my own experience and knowledge of Cambodia. I believe I will be the first Cambodian to attend this workshop. After my workshop is finished for 2 weeks, I plan on travel to other close by countries such as Germany, Spain and of course France (Barang) I want to see the real Barang in Barang. I heard that you have been to Europe, what are your thoughts? What were some of your highlights? Do you have any suggestions for first time traveler like me?

Another thing I want to ask you is for your support. As you know I am still a student and working part time. This trip costs too heavy for me. I have saved up some money on my own from my work salary, received some support from family, and from Mr. Rodwell as well. But still, I need your help; I hope you can be a part of my journey. Big or small, your donation would mean the world to me as this leadership program and trip will definitely change my world. I know it will change me for the better, as a leader, as a person, and as someone who has big dreams and ambition. I sincerely hope that you can be a part of that transformation. Thank you very much.

Best regards,
