Dear All

As a member of PHM UK and PHM Global, I hope it is ok to share the info about a series of webinars organised by my current work place,  The Royal College of Surgeons of England, on the aspects of the war in Ukraine and its impact,  focusing on the Health system.

I thought this might be interesting to you

In focus: Ukraine – Wednesday 8 June, 6.30pm to 7.30pm

In the first of a series of free webinars examining aspects of the war in Ukraine and its impact, RCS England President Professor Neil Mortensen will explore how NHS England is contributing to the humanitarian response. We are delighted to welcome Professor Chris Moran OBE, National Clinical Director for Trauma to NHS England, and Lizzie Marmont, Operations Manager at UK-Med, to the panel.

In focus: Ukraine – Thursday 23 June, 6.30pm to 7.30pm

In the second webinar of our series on aspects of the war in Ukraine and its impact, Professor Chris Lavy will chair a session looking at the Ukrainian diaspora.

I will send another email in few days about the project I am working on with the Royal College of Surgeons of England 'Humanitarian Surgery Initiative' which might be interesting to some of you
