Project Management System. (Intranet Application)
This system helps the project managers, project leaders in the management of
the projects. It allows the project authorities to define the project and the
modules involved in the project with respect to parameters like time frame for
each module, members assigned to each module etc. It lets them assign modules
to the project members within a project. The system automatically sends
notifications by mail to the members responsible for the task. It records the
actual time spent on each module by each member and compares that with the
expected time limit defined for each module. It also generates reminders for
the people running behind schedule. Other project related issues are also
handled. This system can be run as a Notes server - client based system as well
as web based system.
Responsibilities include studying the requirements from the project authorities
which involve interaction with the project managers and leaders, designing,
developing, testing and finally implementing the system.

Call Tracking System (HelpDesk application)
IBM India looks after all IT operations of FOSECO India Ltd. (parent company -
Burmah Castrol). This system enables the users of FOSECO India located all over
India to contact the IBM Helpdesk any time in the event of a problem. The call
is logged in to the Call Tracking System (CTS) application. CTS enables the IBM
Helpdesk to track the calls and calculate the turnaround time of each vendor
and each customer support representative This helps the IBM Helpdesk to
calculate the efficiency of each CSR and each Vendor. The turn around time is
shown with the help of graphs. Many other reports are also provided in the
system. This system can be run as a Notes server - client based system.
Involved in studying the requirements from the IBM Helpdesk authorities at FIL
(FOSECO India Ltd). This involved interaction with the IBM Helpdesk
authorities, designing, developing and testing the system.

This application provides on-line listing of courses offered by the Training
Dept. and allows interested users to make a registration on-line. It uses
Calendaring and Scheduling features of Lotus Notes. Java applets were added to
enable users to enrol on training courses. The application is available for
access to all the users through a Notes Desktop Client or through a browser.
Involved in getting specifications from the client and analyzing the specs,
designing the system forms, views and coding. Wrote the Agents to automize the
system.

Library Catalogue System. (Intranet Application)

This application provides on-line catalogue of the books, papers and other
material available with the library. It is possible to do on-line reservation
of these items. It also provides the librarian with reports on status of

Client : Talera Group Of Hotels
Replicating the server with the clients installed in hotels located at various
places all over India for accounting. Updating Payroll system which was
developed in FOXPRO 2.0 to Payroll system developed in PowerBuilder 5.0. Day to
day attendance imported from Card swapping machine to database. Automatic
payslip generation, Indexing of database, Automatic Backup facility, Additional
data User security provided in this system.
