Professional costume house seeks managerial person to coordinate many
aspects of busy costume shop. Role would include working with and
supervising staff, working with vendors, overseeing key projects,
developing sales strategies, interacting with customers, and keeping
business records.
Qualified applicants may have experience in fields such as retail,
fashion, or theatre. While costume experience is desirable, it is not
mandatory. Retail supervision in apparel should be part of your
background. Costing and the ability to sit down and plan is part of
this position. People who can think for themselves and who are creative
are very welcome here.
Essentially we are looking for a person who can oversee the
ever-changing world of a costume shop. We are seeking a creative, yet
focused person who can keep on top of the projects and will ensure that
at the end of the day the jobs are all completed and the customers are
happy.
