Thank you
Just back off, you guys just love to beat down of non OBOD groups, but
it is a valid path.
Sounds like a blast... unfortunate that it's on the wrong coast-line.

It is indeed a blast. I've entered the bardic competitions, enjoyed
the mead tastings, and thoroughly enjoyed the company. The minor
fee to cover event staging is trivial. Some of the trolls here get fixated
on money. They seem to think events like this can be produced for
free and would have you believe the motivations behind the events
are monetary profit. That is, of course, utter nonsense. Seldom do
they even make back the cost of staging the event, let alone
accumulate any profit.

In my book no path is valid that charges one red cent for anything. But that
is just my opinion and don't pay any attention to me. I certainly do not
represent the pop Druid opinion.
:-)
Heaping piles of derision and scorn on anyone and everyone is
their only skill. I've been to the Red Oak Grove Fall Fest on a
few occasions and can say with authority that they are an interesting
and dedicated group of folks. I may not subscribe to their particular
take on Druid spirituality, but as a group they have much to offer.

As a former pursewarden/treasurer for Red Oak, I can honestly say that
I
make more money in one day at my "real job" than the grove typically
makes
in a year... And as much as we enjoyed having Fall Fest out at Four
Quarters Farm, the reason we haven't in a few years is that, frankly,
we
can't afford it! We lost money at every single Fall Fest we had out
there. :-/
