The only truth about the current massacre is that Israel, while
planning it long in advance of a truce, broke that truce, blaming Gaza
and then proceeding with its terroristic plan.

Hamas broke the truce, refused offers to renew it, and fired hundreds of
missiles at Israel. Israel, after saying their forebearance would not last
for ever, finally hit back.
It's notable that none of the Arab governments (except terrorist states like
Syria) are backing Hamas.
Why do you lie about the Hamas terrorists and help them by lying about
Israel?

Hamas militants step up rocket attacks on Israel
Hamas militants fired a barrage of rockets at the southern Israeli
city of Ashkelon yesterday in an increase of violence that has all but
buried a five-month-old truce.
The Israeli military warned communities near Gaza to remain indoors,
and police and rescue services went on high alert in preparation for
more attacks.
There were no casualties in Ashkelon, 17km (11 miles) north of Gaza
but another rocket attack on the nearby town of Sderot left one person
wounded by shrapnel, according to rescue services.
The Hamas attacks were the latest in a week-long cycle of violence
that has imperilled a truce reached in June. They followed an earlier
strike by Israeli jets against militants firing rockets from northern
Gaza.
The Egyptian-brokered ceasefire began to disintegrate last week when
Israeli forces entered Gaza to try to destroy what the military said
was a tunnel dug by militants to carry out a planned cross-border
raid.
Eleven militants have been killed in more than a week of fighting and
about 140 rockets and mortars have been fired from Gaza at Israel.

Senior Hamas operative killed while trying to attack troops
By YAAKOV KATZ, JPOST.COM STAFF AND AP
IDF troops in the Gaza Strip on Saturday targeted Hamas operative Amir
Mansi, a senior member of Izzadin Kassam, the group's military wing.

A senior commander of IDF operations in the Strip said that Mansi was
the head of the Gaza Strip rocket division, and was Mansi was
previously involved in dozens of rocket attacks against Israel in
recent weeks.
He was also said to be a close associate of Hizbullah, and was known
to receive information from the group on a regular basis, including
learning how to fire rockets.
Mansi was killed while attempting to fire mortars at Givati troops at
Jabal Rice, in the northern Gaza Strip. Two other combatants were also
hit.
The IDF commander said the fact that Mansi was personally involved in
attacking Israeli troops showed that the Hamas military wing was in a
serious state of distress, as senior Hamas operatives would not
ordinarily venture out into battlefields.
The IDF officer also said that entire companies of Hamas had been
completely wiped out, and some Hamas fighters had gone AWOL or fled
battlefields.
"They are afraid to come out and fight, that's why Mansi went out to
fire rockets on his own," the officer said. (The Hamas cowards are
hiding behind women and children - Buzz)
The officer also said that Hamas had replicated nature reserves that
the IDF found in southern Lebanon in 2006, with built-up urban areas
in Gaza City. The group was said to have built up tunnel systems in
such a manner that if the IDF deepened its operation into the city, it
would encounter face-to-face and hand-to-hand resistance.
Meanwhile, the IDF announced that at least 300 Hamas operatives have
been killed since the ground offensive stage of Operation Cast Lead
was launched a week ago. The IDF estimate was backed up by
intelligence.
