Fonte Santafiora Spring Races

Quaker City Wheelmen, Philadelphia's premiere bicycle racing club
is having several competitive cycling events this spring thanks to
the generous sponsorship of Fonte Santafiora, a natural spring water from
Italy.
The Santafiora Windy Spring Point Series will be held on Saturdays
March 29, April 5, April 12, and April 19 in front of Memorial Hall. The
course is a one kilometer four corner loop. The Point leader will be
awarded a leader's jersey to be worn at the start of the next race. Cash
primes and merchandise will be given daily to the top six finishers in
each category. Cash prizes will be given to top six overall in all
categories except Men 5/ Women 4/ Junior 15-17. Leader's jersey and water
provided by Fonte Santafiora. Flyers should be available in your friendly

The Santafiora Spring Track Fling will be held on Saturday May 3 at the
Lehigh County Velodrome. Water provided by Fonte Santafiora. For more

The Santafiora Quaker City Criterium will be held on June 7 at F. D.
Roosevelt Park in South Philadelphia. The course is a flat 1.6 mile loop
with sweeping turns. A 6-day trip for two to Italy including airfare,
accommodations, English speaking guide, and a tour of the Fonte
Santafiora bottling facilities will be raffled at the end of the days
racing. All competitors are immediately entered. Flyers will be
available at the Santafiora Windy Spring Point Series registration table.
