I just wanted to take time to introduce myself and to thank you for
allowing me to be apart of your circles.
My name is Charing Ball and I host People, Places & Things, an online
radio show broadcasting on Gtown Radio (www.gtownradio.com). PP&T,
which airs Monday from 8 to 9 p.m., seeks to highlight positive people
making positive impacts on our community. That means artist, business
people, non-profit groups, activist and anyone interesting are welcome
to share their gifts, knowledge and talents on my show. We are based
in Northwest Philadelphia, however because the internet is so vast our
listenership is global. Because of it, I am always on the lookout for
new guests to either hang out with me live in our studio (we are
located in Germantown) or do over the phone interviews with. Hit me
back if this sounds like something your interested in
( sapphir...@gmail.com)
I should also mention that every third Monday of the Month, PP&T host
"Inside the Filmmaker's Studio: film screening and discussion," which
showcases up and coming filmmakers and their works. If your in the
Philadelphia area, come by the Little Theatre in the Video Library,
7141 Germantown Avenue, at 7 p.m. for our first screening (Monday
January 21st) of "Philadelphia Homicide City: Money, Murder and
Politics." You can also listen to the discussion portion with the
filmmakers live on Gtown Radio beginning at 8 p.m.
Gtown Radio is a small collaborative online community radio station
broadcasting 24/7 a week. Besides my programming we have a diverse
line-up representing just about every interest and taste from Sports
Talk, to 70s House Music to shows about the Prision System to even a
show hosted by 16-year old Malcolm Cain.
You can actually hear snippets of my show at www.myspace.com/peopleplacesthings.
Sincerely,
Charing Ball
