Our book collection efforts are kicking off. Inductees: please save
your books to bring to the induction. I bought a basket and printed a
message to be taped to it and placed outside the SGA room (room 202
Blackwood Community Center), the basket is under the desk on the far
wall. This basket needs to be brought in and out of the room daily so
that books are not stolen. Please let me know if you can help put out
or bring in the basket. If you are on facebook or myspace, please
create an event or just post to anyone affiliated with the college to
promote the bookdrive.
Please note, there was some confusion in my last few emails:
April 6th 4pm Member meeting
April 8th 3pm induction rehearsal
Those two are not on the same day as I mentioned before.
April 13th 7pm Induction (6pm for organizers)
April 20 1-4pm Arbor Day planting blackwood I have 3 open spots for
planting this day, you will receive a free tshirt and possibly
refreshments. Contact me ASAP to reserve a spot.
April 29th 11am-2pm spring fling, we need 2 people to man the table
and represent PTK, and to put together information, we need some ideas
to make our table lively and interesting. This should be a lot of fun,
the campus radio will have a few bands and the game design club is
registering for their upcoming super smash bros. tournament.
Late April - I need an emergency team. We have 10 trees on order to be
planted on campus, we don't know exactly when they will be in, so I
need everyone's availability so when they do get in we can be
organized and plant promptly.
May 2nd 9am - tree planting at the children's garden in Camden contact
me ASAP to register.
May 9th 9am - tree planting at Walt Whitman Arts center in Camden
contact me ASAP to register.
If I missed any important dates, they will be discussed in depth at
Monday's meeting.
