Hey everyone,

Thanks for all those who made it out tonight. I thought the induction
went very well.

I wanted to pass on the Honors Study Topic Guide which Dr. Yannuzzi
had referenced during his speech. It can be found at the following

site. Also there is the International Service Program: http://www.ptk.org/service/
These are the two major projects that are ongoing within PTK. I
encourage you to look through and see what there is that we can get
involved with.

As mentioned tonight, we are looking for a new set of officers to
coordinate the group through the next semester. We will be holding
elections during the next meeting Wednesday May 6th at 4pm in room 202
of the community center (student government association). We're also
looking for ideas for next semester's events, so please come out and
help us.

Upcoming Events:

April 20 1-4pm Arbor Day planting blackwood You will receive a free
tshirt and possibly refreshments. Contact jte...@camdencc.edu to
reserve a spot.

April 29th 11am-2pm spring fling. I need at least one person to man
the table during my class until 12:15, we need 2 people to man the
table and represent PTK, and to put together information, we need some
ideas to make our table lively and interesting. This should be a lot
of fun, the campus radio will have a few bands and the game design
club is registering for their upcoming super smash bros. tournament.

Late April - I need an emergency team. We have 10 trees on order to be
planted on campus, we don't know exactly when they will be in, so I
need everyone's availability so when they do get in we can be
organized and plant promptly.

May 2nd 9am - tree planting at the children's garden in Camden contact
me ASAP to register.

May 9th 9am - tree planting at Walt Whitman Arts center in Camden
contact me ASAP to register.
