Greetings from Three Sisters Farm,

I am writing you to encourage you to participate in the Buy Fresh Buy Local Program. Buy Fresh Buy Local is administered by the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture -PASA.

If you are a producer of local foods Buy Fresh Buy Local offers an amazing deal to promote your farm and products throughout Western Pennsylvania. If you a business or restaurant that uses locally and regionally produced foods, partnering with Buy Fresh Buy Local is a great way to let your customers know about your committment to Pennsylvania Agriculture and to providing fresh local food. If you are a consumer, supporting BFBL is an important statement of your concern for a strong local food system.

I have attached the BFBL partnership agreement , which details the benefits of BFBL. WWW.buylocalpa.org has additional information.

PASA is hosting an informational event for Buy Fresh Buy Local partners Jan 12th at the Pittsburgh Public Market.  Here is the link for more information : http://pasafarming.org/events/pasa-events/western-pa-buy-fresh-buy-local-r-partner-kick-off-event.

My own farm, Three Sisters Farm and Nursery, has been providing fresh farm products in Western Pennsylvania since 1989. We have always been strong proponents of the growth of local food systems, sharing our work with classes, workshops and presentations to groups large and small.  We applaud the leadership PASA has provided over the past two and a half decades to support the work of farmers, stores, restaurants and consumers of agricultural products. The Buy Fresh Buy Local program is a tangible example of PASA's continuing good works.

We wish you a happy holiday season

Darrell
