Permaculture Design Intensive : Market Gardening and Season Extension

This three day workshop will present an advanced study of permaculture design as applied to Sanaview Farm and Roaring Run. SanaView Farms, dedicated to healing, nutrition and recovery, is a 50 acres farm with a barn for events, a greenhouse, and production gardens.

Partic...ipants will spend a day reviewing permaculture concepts and discussing the application of the permaculture design process to Sanaview. The second day participants will work in teams with the instructors to review and develop design plans for the farms systems, gardens and landscapes with a focus on season extension of farm crops. The third day will involve hands on learning on the farm managing the farm’s gardens, greenhouse and landscape.

Price: $400 includes meals and the option of camping.
