Parole no sound when playing DVD's

Ongoing with testing the RC1 i have discovered that Parole doesn't produces sound when playing DVD's. I have task-multimedia installed but left out all of the QT stuff. Also i have Pulse Audio activated for better support regarding my soundcard so that the PCM slider can be used. This is on the laptop.
The netbook doesn't have Pulse Audio activated and also there Parole gives no sound when playing a DVD.
I went on searching on the web but i'm a bit stuck now at the moment.
