Here's some stuff i noticed running the RC2 from a live session and a actuall install on the netbook's harddrive:

1. In live session and after install on the top panel the volume icon/mixer doesn't show and must be added manually.

2. Also the Netapplet doesn't show ootb anymore, needs to be loaded manually from the Phinx menu, after reboot it doesn't show up either, also needs to be loaded over again from the menu.

A little sidenote on the Netapplet issue: This counts also for the RC1 with all updates applied. It must be started manually from the Phinx menu after every reboot or startup of the machines.

3. Clipman, it's in the panel items list but doesn't show on the panel ootb as it used to in the previous versions.

4. Thunar shows the folders in the sidepane but..... these are not pointing at, for example, /home/maik/Documents but they point to /root/Documents.

5. Another thing that goes wrong is with the Action Buttons applet/item. Standard it seems to be set to 'Action Buttons' in Properties in the RC. When i change it to 'Session Menu' my username shows, which is correct but..... after a reboot or when the computer is started again after being shut down for a while, it doesn't seem to keep the settings i choose. Instead of showing the 'Session Menu' with the username it switched back to the 'Action Buttons' layout.

About point 2 and the NetApplet... That, i hope, is solved for now.

I just added it to Session and Startup. If it has been there before i wonder what caused it to be removed from the Session and Startup Apps list on the RC 1.
This is, whatever caused it,  i believe the result that the Net Applet also doesn't show up or say auto starts on the RC2.

Let's see if we can get the rest of the issues solved.

i had to remove alot of startup stuff as i had to reset the available folders in your home directory ... but it appear thats the /etc/skel folder is marking them as root in the users directory ... anyway  basically gave it a spring clean ...

Got the new iso and installed it on the netbook.

So far everything is working fine as it should, except for the Action Buttons issue. That seems to remain though somehow.
