Using the libreoffice manager I attempted to download /install libreoffice. It started and the download time of 2h12m an hour later it was @ 2h25m. That was my 3rd. attempt. I use Google docs so it's not a problem for me. I didn't want to start changing repos. Perhaps I missed a mention of it before.

Heya Alex ...

changing your PCLOS repo shouldnt be a problem ... find a faster 1 for yourself ... just dont change the Phinx repo ... i am currently looking at getting the repo moved to the project page and then i should have mirrors available for Phinx ...

Kori,

Nothing to do with the repos but, I'm using the one listed @ the top.
It was new today. I think?

The one from the top is released today so indeed the right one to use. If you look at my topic you know that most of the issues i reported are fixed in the RC2a.

Doesn't the LO manager download the packages from the LibreOffice servers itself and not from the PcLos repo's?

I did read the topic and so far everything is good except libreoffice. As I said I don't use it, I'm just testing. It's not my machine or my connection. I checked everything. About the LO manager downloading the packages from the LibreOffice servers itself, I don't have a clue.
Just in case I changed the pclos repos and it did not make any difference. It's not an issue for me but may be for others.

That's what it thought, so that means the LibreOffice server is slow.

Yes it's very slow. Today I tried again and it took 1h58m only to loose the connection with 4m remaining. I'm moving on to the next package I want to test. If you have anything you need me to test let me know.
