Free trial versions of Movavi Screen Recorder are available for both Windows and Mac. Both versions allow you to adjust recording parameters and store screen captures in MP4, MKV, and other popular file formats. The app also provides editing tools that even the most inexperienced user can handle.

Windows Media Player won't play any sound because of various reasons, but you should be in a position to fix it if and when it occurs. However, it is reasonable to make sure the problem is with the software, and not with your media.

Now you have the codecs installed, but there is still no sound from the sound system. Your media player itself may have developed complications. Whether from viruses or faulty drivers, you have no choice but to uninstall it from the system and install the latest version.

The problem of the audio not working on your computer could be a result of outdated sound drivers. So, if all other remedies fail, you will have to update your audio drivers. To do this, follow the steps below:

If you have exhausted all software solutions to no effect, then you might have a hardware problem. Try plugging in different headphones or speakers. If the audio is not working with any of these devices, there is a chance your audio port needs repairs.

Windows Media Player is a part of the package for almost any available version of the OS by Microsoft, from Windows XP and Vista to Windows 7 and newer. Thus, Windows Media Player not playing the sound is a quite common issue with a plethora of solutions. In this article, we have covered the most widespread issues:

So I've encountered this bug multiple times already. The video plays just fine in the preview. Once I export a video, the exported video just freezes at a very specific point, the audio keeps going just fine. The video unfreezes at a specific point and this goes on even though I tried a lot of things and no matter how many times I've exported it. I know this is a bug and not a problem with my computer because I've made similar or even more demanding videos and they exported just fine.

You might be using either version 4.05 or 4.08. I remember like the back of my hand that I experienced periodical freezes on my videos when I used these versions of the software. This issue was fixed from 4.10 onwards and has never reappeared as of 5.01.

Well, I worked my way around the issue by using a static image since the main purpose of the video was just to show a song. The problem hasn't come back on other videos. I still have no idea why this is a thing though.

Exported to an ISO file here using default settings and couldn't spot a freeze. Here's that ISO, which can be burned to DVD.
To test it, right-clickedBURN TO DVD was chosen (Windows 10). The DVD disc did not freeze during the 4:45-6:00 segment.

You have multiple people all talking about the same thing... just look at the titles of the last 25-50 posts in this forum. After render we're getting either frozen or blank or combination of things.

How many people will have to complain? Are you telling us that it's all on us to PROVE to you this is happening? If it's different on your system but we're having an issue then that's still not on us.

I just took a WORKING video combined from two other videos. I did nothing to it but change the entire 5 min video to cartoon. Sure enough, it gets to the first edit and boom...frozen. If this is a frame rate issue, then you should be able to provide quick guidance for a work around. I'm not going to spend the next few hours playing with all the frame rates vs. quality to determine what might work.

Given how little the software is updated these days and the consistent low quality of the recent updates, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is beginning to wonder what your competitors are doing. I've been using VideoPad Pro for nearly 3 years and I loved it. But my frustration is starting to overtake my loyalty. I don't want to change but I'm tired of spending hours on the edit only to blow up on the render. Really tired of it.

Please read the last two posts. We've reproduced the issue (thanks to @GTCulbreth uploading the files) and working on the issue. We can't fix anything if we don't know what's wrong. It would be helpful if you could provide more information e.g. what format you exported to and the codec settings etc..

The avi file is the source material. The problem doesn't appear if the video is untampered and exported as a whole, but it arises when I cut it and copy paste it a dozen of times as seen in the exported video.

The original file displayed no video when opened with several other media players. The same occurred in another editing program, with this error message. This hints that VP may be the more forgiving of an apparently non-standard file.

Does anyone know what video format, RHI and method you take to have your video play in widget? I have a green screen video and remove the green part with chroma key and set material of media texture (material instance) to an image inside widget, make media player variable and open the source and tried a millions times but my video keeps playing white without sound I tried webm mp4 mov formats and all RHIs but nothing seem to work any way around

As a job description, video converters have the unglamorous duty of grinding away on one digital file format and turning it into another. However, they are indispensable tools because of the many different incompatible technical standards and the competitive jumble of devices that can play video today.

For both digital video file formats and output devices, Movavi Video Converter covers the field. The lists for input and output formats, along with the mobile and set-top devices that can be converted to are extensive. Just click the Preset field to reveal a pop-up menu with broad listings of formats, devices, and specific brand options.

Choosing your input video files uses a typical browsing practice accomplished through the +File button in the upper left corner of the Movavi interface. Once your file is in the list, a Quality/Size setting can be adjusted.

When all your device or output format profiles are set, simply click on the Convert button and let it run. During the conversion, the video playback is not displayed. Progress bars showing percentage completed, elapsed time, and remaining time do provide status feedback. Conversion speed is very good.

Prior to converting video, you can preview a number of effects the Movavi Video Converter has available. Among them are crop, rotate, watermark, subtitle, and video adjustments for brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation. There is also a basic trim tool to create smaller segments from the longer original and the ability to take snapshots.

All in all, Movavi Video Converter is nice to work with. Its attractive user interface draws you in, and the available tools are smartly designed, clear, and intuitive. The selection of input and output formats, including the expansive range of mobile and other devices it converts to is impressive.

After opening the free RealPlayer, click on the Library tab to see your video clips either as graphic thumbnails, or in the usual text list format. As an interface, the pure visual power of the thumbnails is compelling. Along with the images, information on the clip title, origin, running time, date acquired, and format are also presented.

The RealPlayer Converter is almost an unexpected bonus to all the capabilities of the free RealPlayer. However, since the attention has been on the converter, you should know about the other special work RealPlayer can do. A few examples are:

Movavi has an appealing, easy to use interface with a smooth, logical workflow. Selecting files is done in a conventional way, but the multiple windows that can be opened to deal with various settings, details, and effects makes it an engaging application to use. Movavi also makes quick work of its primary job of converting video files.

The Movavi Video Converter has a large selection of input and output formats, and mobile devices it converts to. The capability to upload directly to YouTube, Facebook, and iTunes sets it apart from the other converters.

The free RealPlayer and the $49.95 Movavi are closely matched on file format processing and device transfer capability. The integration of RealPlayer, and especially its Library features, combined with the RealPlayer Converter to offer an overall package that is quite convenient.

Choosing to upgrade from the free RealPlayer to RealPlayer Plus at $49.95 instead of Movavi could well be worth it. You get all the advantages of a top-notch media player with a terrific interface, while RealPlayer Plus can handle most file conversions, offers accelerated download and device transfers, DVD burning, and HD burning capability.

A video with a variety of audio and visual features, such as a video with subtitles, can increase the audience's enjoyment. Unfortunately, manually adding these features to a video can be time-consuming and frustrating.

Now that you have uploaded videos to YouTube, you want to add subtitles to make your content more unique and accessible to your viewers. Various online tools help you automatically generate the appropriate subtitles for your videos.
