PMA Board Election: Tie-Breaking Vote

Dear colleagues,

The PMA Board election resulted in a tie between Jean-Pierre Marquis and Timothy Gowers.

Both candidates have been elected to the Board. This tie-breaking vote is being held solely to determine the length of their respective terms. The candidate receiving the greater number of votes will serve a three-year term, and the other candidate will serve a two-year term.

Please use the personal voting link sent to you to select the candidate who should receive the three-year term.

The ballot will remain open until August 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CEST.
