I double checked the syllabus to make sure and this is what it says under "Tests" section:  "In order to encourage retention, tests given later in the semester will contain some questions about material from previous modules."

On this quiz there are 2 questions from Ch4

1.According to Karl Popper, scientific theories can never be confirmed, only disconfirmed.

2. Referring back to disconfirming evidence and auxiliary hypotheses, as discussed in chapter 4, DeWitt suggests that one of these is a difficult question for the idea of falsifiability.

I am wondering if these types of questions will be on actual tests? I have been doing very bad on tests and having a hard time grasping each module. Are we suppose to go back and make sure we know all the details from previous modules? It makes sense to know the main concepts from each module but how about all the details? What if somebody doesn't remember or understand certain things? Do they just continue to get wrong answers and lose points?

Yes, if it shows up on a quiz for a module, a version of the question can show up on a test for that module. These questions would reinforce things that are important to retain.
