I just finished recording a short message that we'll be sharing with the entire CelebrateMercy community tomorrow morning - right as Giving Tuesday begins, insha'Allah.
Before that message goes out, I wanted to give you a quick preview of what to expect and how you can maximize your impact on one of the most important fundraising days of our year.
CelebrateMercy will be raising funds on LaunchGood with a goal of $100,000 in 24 hours. These funds will support what we're calling our 3 Ps: Parents, Prisoners, and Programs.
When the campaign page goes live at midnight tonight, you'll be able to explore each of these initiatives - as well as the meaningful thank-you gifts prepared for supporters. In the meantime, here are two opportunities that can help your gift go further:
- 2-for-1 Matching Grant: A generous group of supporters has committed to a $50K match if we reach our Giving Tuesday goal.
- Power Hour (2pm ET): For one hour only, LaunchGood will give a $5K prize to the campaign with the most donors or most donations. Giving during this time increases our chances of earning the bonus and unlocking the matching grant; add a reminder to your personal calendar here.
