[Philly Twestival]

Thanks to Gloria, Maya, and Kevin for coming to last night's meeting!

Here's the plan thus far for this year's 2011 Philly Twestival Local:

Thursday March 24, 2011 6PM-10PM (arrive 6-6:30, scavenger hunt from 6:30-9:00, winners and raffle prizes announce at 9:15-9:30ish depending on logistics)

Twitter-based scavenger hunt (like we did last year for Concern Worldwide) - possibly taking advantage of the Scavengr app - we're contacting them

Monetary donations/ticket sales to benefit MANNA http://www.mannapa.org/ (MANNA has confirmed they are fine with being our charity, I'm meeting w/their director of communications and touring their facility next Tuesday morning)

Children's coat drive to benefit Operation Warm http://www.operationwarm.org/ (I've emailed them, waiting to hear back to make sure it's ok with them)

Three bars - National Mechanics, Philadelphia Bar, and Khyber - we're in the process of contacting and confirming participation with these bars

What we'll need:

RAFFLE PRIZES! 

Volunteers the night of the event!
