Ticket Sales

Hey gang,

I am going to admit, I am getting a bit panicky about this event.  We have a lot of fun, some great bars and some really awesome prizes lined up.  But we have only sold 7 tickets so far.  We need to sell 100 to meet our goal.  If anyone has any suggestions on how we can increase ticket sales, I'm all ears.

I can't believe I forgot about selling tickets at the #140Conf.  Oh well, let's "hit the streets" with the word.  I just messaged everyone - attending, maybes, not attending and not responded on Facebook.  If everyone who has said yes or maybe on Facebook buys a ticket we will be well past our goal!

Also, I have confirmed with Mikey that they are going to bring the Fiesta Movement car to Twestival!  So put on your thinking caps, we need a couple of clues that will involve people taking a picture with the Fiesta.

Talked to Chuck Hall and a few others at the Doylestown Tweetup tonight, and mentioned Twestival. After talking with them, I'm wondering if people are not as interested because of the "pub crawl" (i.e. the feeling that they *have* to participate in a scavenger hunt). 

My thoughts are, if they want to come and just hang out at one or all of the bars, that is just as good, right?
