Hi all. Just thought I'd start a new thread w/ a corrected Subject
Line and remind everyone that if I don't have your name, you can't get
into the building tomorrow night. If I didn't already hear from you
personally, I made some assumptions based on ongoing discussions of
certain individuals. To that end, I have the following individuals
names thus far:

Robert M.
Jon B.
Jesse M.
Ken M.
Jim M.
Craig B.
Krista M.
Mary Ann D.
Carl E.

Who am I missing? Please respond to this thread or contact me
directly. Did I make any bad assumptions for people NOT planning on
coming?

In regards to my offer to provide parking, I only have two requests so
far...one from Jon and the other from Mary Ann. Here again, if I don't
have your name in advance, you're on your own.

OK, so I’ve got 3 requests total for parking.  Check.

 

I have names of 9 individuals who plan to attend (limited to the names shown below) that I will give to security.  Check.

 

According to the Google Group website, the topic is “Family Hour.”  Robert sounds like he is the one “presenting,” or at least getting the ball rolling w/ some “Show-N-Tell” regarding constraints and basic parametric functionality, or something along those lines.  To that end, Robert, can I assume you are bringing a laptop preloaded w/ Revit?  The room where we are meeting tonight is complete w/ a computer and projector, but the PC does not have Revit installed.  I had assumed whomever was going to talk about the topic at hand would have their own laptop in tow so whatever open discussion took place, could be done while inside of the software.  Please confirm.

 

Finally, I had previously asked the group about the possibility of food and beverages, and even reached out to our local reseller in hopes that they might be forthcoming, but no response to either, so everyone is on their own for dinner.

That's fine. I'll place an order to be delivered around 6:30 so we can take up a collection when everyone arrives at 6:00. That way we'll have $ in-hand when the delivery guy shows up. I'll ask them to bring some drinks, paper plates, and napkins as well.

OK, I’ve ordered a bunch of pizza and soda from Papa John’s, so bring your pocketbooks, wallets, checkbooks, and money orders people…sorry, I don’t take credit cards or IOU’s J  Craig, salad wasn’t an option, so your diet is on hold tonight.  You did got your choice of toppings though—minus the anchovies—plus some other varieties for those who don’t have the same tastes he-he.
