Hey Guys,
I was stupidly following the Philly.rb website and forgot to ever join
the Google group, so I missed last week's meeting, but I'm trying to
launch a startup here in Philly and am planning on developing in
rails. I'm a developer, and will be learning it, but I'm not
expecting to do very much of the development myself, as I'm brand new
to web development, and am pretty busy trying to get the business side
of things in order. Interested in meeting and talking to Rails people
though and maybe finding people interested in working on the project.
I have some connections and discussions going on with people in the
area, I think both Amrox and Chap are on here, and possibly a few of
the others I've talked to, but thought I'd at least introduce myself
and encourage anyone experienced in rails and looking to get involved
in a local startup to message me at brian at enjyn dot com. That'll
be the name of the website too once it's built :-) There's a few
components to the site, but it includes some music and arts related
stuff and some eCommerce features we'll probably build on top of
SpreeCommerce/ActiveMerchant etc. I'll discuss more detail with
anyone interested! Look forward to meeting some of you soon!

Welcome to the philly.rb list. I'm interested in hearing about Enjyn. Maybe at the next meeting you could give a lightning talk about it.
