Hey folks,

Just thought I'd make sure you all knew that PhillyETE registration is open!

It'll be April 2-3 at the Sheraton and we'll have wycats and tenderlove in town again.

Check out http://phillyemergingtech.com/ for info and $385 early bird tickets until 2/15.

And for comedic value how awesome is it that they put tenderlove next to Joe Rafter on the speaker roll http://monosnap.com/image/pur9x9k8aKlnrC0ddWxDESGOk

Seems very heavy on the functional, closure, scala, clojure side this year.... anyone else notice that?

Keep in mind that what is posted on the ETE site now constitutes approximately half the roster. More speakers will be posted over the next couple of weeks.

I blame Uncle Bob. I saw him last month at the .NET meeting, and he was banging the FP drum really hard. (Also, the .NET meeting was a very strange vibe indeed -- it almost felt like a Mac-only meeting of the late 90s. Lots of posturing and our-platform-can-beat-up-your-platform featuring the Surface RT, which was the door prize.)
