Very good points.   I will and ask the board to stress the importance of training.   I spoke to Ervin yesterday and he was in agreement with the importance of training.   We just happened to catch him twice when he was out of the country.   Earl had the same position when I spoke with him about it two weeks ago.  

That said we need to tie the importance and the requirement of safety training as it relates to being a ride leader for PMTCC.

Please advise, and note: there will be many who will never "have the time" to do the ride leader training as they will prioritize being out riding, as such the club policy on leading rides and the mandatory nature of the training needs to be emphasized...be prepared for push-back and know that vacillation will be costly in the long-run...

As was previously noted, the rider safety will have wait until after the MTMS....
