Hello All!

The Wagner Free institute of Science is looking for a second teaching artist for a part-time position working with middle schoolers. SNAP (Science, Nature and Art in Philadelphia)  is a in-school day outreach program for students located in North Philly.  Based in connections between art making and science concepts, SNAP is a uniquely engaging outreach program. The applicant will be the second teaching artist for the program, working with museum educators and the current teaching artist to teach planned curriculum, deliver arts-based lessons, and guide the students in creating a culminating project.

If you're and artist who loves science or a scientist who loves art view the full job description here and apply today. Interviews will be starting early October, teaching starting end of November.

Pay is $20-$25/hr based on experience
8-12 hrs a week expected. Contracted and flexible.

BIPOC Artists to the front.

Thanks!
