Mighty Earth, a global environmental advocacy organization, is hiring a Vice President of Finance and Operations.
The Vice President will have primary day-to-day oversight for accounting, grants management, financial planning, analysis, operations, and compliance. They will build and nurture a high performing finance organization, coordinate closely with our program staff, and encourage and develop financial literacy and accountability throughout the organization.
We're looking for candidates with at least 10 years of experience in accounting and finance and at least some financial management experience in a nonprofit setting.
We have a preference for candidates in the D.C. area and eastern time zone, but we’re open to considering candidates in other US time zones. Salary range is $140K - $180K with a generous benefits package. You can read more about the job here: https://mightyearth.org/careers/.
