Senior Program Manager at BuildUS, $135,000-$155,000, Remote

NRG Consulting Group is helping BuildUS hire two Senior Program Managers.  BuildUS works to build a stronger, cleaner, fairer economy.  As an effort by a broad group of philanthropies, BuildUS  helps workers and communities maximize the potential of recent federal legislation so that together we can build a better economy for us all.

The Senior Program Managers, reporting to the Managing Director or Executive Director, will manage a portfolio and place specific grant-making; support program activity; identify and assess data, lessons learned, and needs from the field; develop and maintain partnerships with grantees and peer funders; participate in organizational strategy development with a focus on grantmaking; and more!

The successful candidate has 6+ years of experience in social change efforts and initiatives in one of the following fields: worker justice and organizing, climate or climate justice organizing, community organizing, campaign and coalition building, community economic development or community development finance. Additionally, previous grant making experience and/or experience with specific related federal policy or federal grants programs is strongly preferred. 

This is a remote position, with strong preference for candidates in the eastern half of the U.S., and the salary range is $135,000-$155,000 plus benefits.
