Dir of Politics & Policy w/ United for Respect: Remote, $95k-$120k

NRG Consulting Group is helping United for Respect hire a Director of Politics and Policy to join their Senior Management Team. United for Respect (UFR) is a multiracial national nonprofit organization fighting for big and bold corporate and public policy changes that improve the lives of people who work in retail. UFR is advancing a movement for an economy where corporations respect working people and support a democracy that allows Americans to live and work in dignity.

The Director of Politics and Policy will lead the national political, policy and electoral program that includes strategies to hold Walmart, Amazon and Wall Street accountable, national and state policy campaigns that centers their members’ leadership, and drives solutions for structural changes in the economy across employers and issues.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in political and electoral management with a focus in public policy or political advocacy and working in coalitions.

This position is fully remote but candidates based in DC are ideal. Salary of $95,000-$120,000 + benefits.
