Hi,
Its Sheppard from Philly Rootstrikers. Either I or one of our members talked with you in Rittenhouse Square Park this Summer about the corrupting influence of money over politics.
You showed interest in knowing more about how money buys results in government, so I wanted to reach out and let you know we'll be meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, 08/28/13, at 6pm at the Friends Center located at 1501 Cherry St. in Philadelphia.
At the Discussion Meeting,

We'll watch a presentation by Rootstrikers Founder, Lawerence Lessig, which focuses on our cause. There will be popcorn!

Then we'll talk about the presentation, the different aspects of our cause, answer questions people have, and try to help each other understand how different problems facing America are tied to the corruption we're fighting. As long as we have time, every topic or question related to getting money out of politics will be addressed.

Then we'll present a number of actions we're working on and work on suggestions presented at the meeting.
This Discussion Meeting is for everyone: whether you're just learning about the corrupting influence of money on politics or interested in discussing specific aspects of this corruption.
