WHAT: Public Action Planning Meeting

WHEN: Wednesday, January 7, 2015 - 6PM to 9PM

WHERE: Friends Center, 1501 Cherry St., Philadelphia (only a couple blocks North of
              City Hall on 15th Street)
WHO: Philly Rootstrikers are hosting, but there will be representation from other organizations

Philly Rootstrikers are having a meeting this week to plan an action regarding Money in Politics and the 5th Anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision in the Citizens United vs. FEC case, which unleashed the SuperPAC invasion and billions of dollars on elections. 

 

The action consists of creating and performing short public skits that highlight the corrupting influence of money over our goverment and the results of our pay to play system.  Planning for the action has already begun, and we have a number of steps done.  However, we need more help... Your ideas and creativity can make a real difference in educating people about the source of what's wrong with this country... corruption caused by the influence of money.
