Philly Rootstrikers' Discussion Meeting Next Wednesday, 07/31/13

Hi,

 

Its Sheppard from Philly Rootstrikers.  Either I or one of our members talked with you in Rittenhouse Square Park over the past month about the corrupting influence of money over politics. 

 

You showed interest in knowing more about how money buys results in government, so I wanted to reach out and let you know we'll be meeting next Wednesday, 07/31/13, at 6pm at the Friends Center located at 1501 Cherry St. in Philadelphia.

 

At the Discussion Meeting, we'll watch a presentation by Rootstrikers Founder, Lawerence Lessig, which focuses on our cause.  Then we'll talk about the presentation, the different aspects of our cause, answer questions people have, and debate how different problems facing America are tied to the corruption we're fighting.  As long as we have time, every topic or question related to getting money out of politics will be addressed. 

This Discussion Meeting is for everyone who is just learning about the corrupting influence of money on politics and those of us who are interested in discussing specific aspects of this corruption.  Please join us for dialogue that's become so rare today, so we can learn from each other.
