All,
First, we've teamed up with the Democracy is for People Coalition in planning a Rapid Response Protest on the day of the Supreme Court releases its decision on McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission. If the ruling comes out in March, it will be either tomorrow or Wednesday, 3/25 or 3/26. We won't know until about 10 am that day. You'll receive another email the day we find out to remind you of the when and where. The day the decision is released, we'll assemble in Philly at the Clothespin Statue, 15th & market Sts. at 5 pm for a rally, protest, and to distribute action flyers to pedestrians. If the Supreme Court does not release its decision this week, then it won't be until April. We'll keep you posted.
Next, Philly Rootstrikers is holding our monthly meeting this Wednesday, 03/26, at 6pm at the Friends Center, 1501 Cherry St., Phila. We'll be talking more about our cause and events/actions we have coming up, which includes the action mentioned above and the one below.

Next Friday, April 4th, an ALL DAY event at Thomas Paine Plaza WorldWide Wave of Action
People are asking occupiers and others to come together again for a day to meet, discuss, talk about what they’re doing, promote activities their doing, and much more. Here’s the Facebook event page:https://www.facebook.com/events/751456018198488/
To make sure this event is successful, a bunch of us are reaching out to other occupiers, activist groups and other organizations to see if they want to come out and participate. There's a permit for Thomas Paine Plaza, which is just north of City Hall(where the game pieces are), and we’ll have electricity too.
COME OUT AND JOIN THE CONVERSATION!
