Tomorrow's action in City Council for the Citizens United Ballot Question

Hi Everyone!

 

Sorry for the late notice, but its been a busy week and tomorrow's details were just settled on Monday. Below is information about an event happening tomorrow morning.  We'll meet at 32BJ SEIU offices before we head over to City Hall to hand our signed petitions for a ballot question to the City Council Members on the Law and Gov't Committee.  Join us and bring a sign!  I'll bring our banner. 

Here's more detailed info:

9am - gather at 32BJ SEIU (42 S. 15th St., Suite 200 Philadelphia, PA 19102), to adorn the petition packets with bows and ribbons and don our santa hats.  We will be meeting in conference room A at 9am Thursday morning December 12 for prepping our petition delivery action

9:30am - head over to the City Council Caucus Room

9:45 to 10:00 - deliver the petitions to the members of the Law and Government Committee and to Council President Clarke in the Caucus Room, pose for pictures, distribute press release to assembled reporters

I've attached my draft of the season's greetings message to the Councilmembers - please review and let me know any comments or suggestions

We have a total of 1,725 signatures on the combined hand signed and online petitions and 32BJ SEIU has generously agreed to print 8 sets of them for us!
