Recap of Rootstriker's Meeting Last Week(01/29/14)

All,

 

   We had a great meeting last week!  There were new people and a high turnout from those who've attended our meetings in the past.  We had wonderful discussions about all aspects concerning the corrupting influence of money over government.  We also explained what we've been up to over the past 6 months to bring the new people up to speed.  But more importantly, we talked about what's to come...

 

Tomorrow, Wed, 02/05/14. we'll be doing public outreach near the suburban station entrance near the City Hall entrance to the Market/Frankford subway entrance.  We'll be meeting there between 6 & 6:30PM and talking with people till a little after 8PM.  COME JOIN US TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE CAUSE, ABOUT WHO WE ARE, AND ABOUT HOW PEOPLE SUPPORT WHAT WE'RE DOING!

 

Weather permitting, we will continue to do public outreach at the same spot and same time every Wednesday(02/12 & 02/19) after that till our next inside meeting on Wed, 02/26/14, at 6PM at the Friends Center (1501 Cherry St).

 

We'll meet again on Wednesday, 02/26/14, (the last Wednesday of the month) at 6PM at the Friends Center (1501 Cherry St).  The meeting will be focused heavily on the outreach, events and actions we are planning for the month of MARCH AGAINST CORRUPTION.

 

Between now and the next meeting at the end of February, we'll be planning outreach, events and actions for March via multiple online forums.  If you're interested in providing ideas, feedback or help, you can participate by

• going to the March Against Corruption - Philadelphia Facebook Event Page: and posting your ideas and volunteering to help make other ideas happen.
• Spreading the word to all about the March Against Corruption Philadelphia event and our meeting at the end of February, so we can get more people to help organize everything and get as many people to help out as we can!

we need you regardless of how much time you have or what you think you're capable of.

All are welcome because the corrupting influence of money hurts us all and will take many to overcome the odds.
