Please join our community of caregivers, growers and champions of Early Care and Education, food, and agriculture as we gather for ourĀ Philadelphia Farm to Early Care & EducationĀ LearningĀ CollaborativeĀ meeting.Ā This will beĀ to be heldĀ Friday,Ā December 15th 12: 30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m.Ā at the Lucien Blackwell West Philadelphia Regional Library.Ā Farm to Early Care andĀ EducationĀ (Farm to ECE) activities offer opportunities for hands-onĀ learning, increasing childrenās access to nutritious local foods and supporting efforts towards equitable thriving communities.Ā

Also, if you know of any informal ECE care providers that are looking for more resources, we have connected withĀ Xiente Mobile Preschool. Xiente will be in attendance toĀ introduceĀ this awesome resource to the community. It would be great for attendees to tour the Mobile Preschool. Lunch will be provided.Ā

Our goals are for participants to:
(1)Ā Gain and share knowledgeĀ of our local food system, Farm to ECE practices, local resources and policies.
(2)Ā Increase their capacityĀ to implement Farm to ECE activities at their site or community.
(3) Strengthen relationshipsĀ among ECE staff, caregivers, existing community partners and BIPOC food system leaders.
