Makerspace Coordinator


Bryn Mawr College Library and Information Technology Services (LITS) invites you to apply for a new full-time position as the Makerspace Coordinator. You will be part of the Critical Making, Digital Collections Management and Digital Scholarship department, and will have oversight of Bryn Mawr’s new makerspace (located in the newly renovated Park Science building). In collaboration with LITS and other staff colleagues, and faculty and students across the College, you will  contribute to a shared vision of the space and its services, and will be in charge of developing educational and outreach programs to bring campus members into the space and the practices of making. You will also hire and supervise student employees, develop training programs and safety protocols, and create workshops to engage students and members of the community.  This is a full-time position with generous benefits (medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement contribution).


We are seeking an energetic and independent person who is passionate about making and educating others in making, with experience with makerspace equipment like 3D printing, CNC routers, laser cutters, and woodshop tools.
