OCTOBER 15 BIZ- re volunteers and money

 

Folks,

 

We are looking for day of the event volunteers for helping with the tables, set-up/break down of stage, money collection, security etc.

 

Groups who intend to set up tables/booths, should BRING YOUR OWN TABLE.

 

Please get in touch with me ASAP if you can volunteer. We are asking every sponsoring group to task a person as a volunteer if possible. We will definitely need some monitors for the march as well. There will be free parking nearby for volunteers.

 

I hate to raise the question of money,, but we are going to be deficit spending to get this done.

 

First, thanks to the groups who already sent in a contribution. We are asking sponsors for a $25 contribution towards expenses. Of course, if your group is broke, we can work it out.

Remember, unlike the Tea Party and other such groups, we do not get any corporate or foundation funding. Strangely enough, the Koch brothers did not return my phone call.
