Please see (and share) the following message from the Office of the School Reform Commission:

It is our pleasure to invite you to the School Reform Commission’s (SRC) Strategy, Policy, and Priorities meeting on Tuesday, November 13, 2012
.  The monthly meetings are designed to foster meaningful, topic driven discussions among the SRC, the School District and the community.

For the month of November, the District's Academic Office will discuss "How Children Learn - Implications for Classrooms and Communities."  We look forward to an honest and meaningful conversation.  Copies of the agenda, the presentations and the reports will be made available on the district's website at: www.philasd.org.

The Strategy, Policy and Priorities (SPP) meetings are open to anyone interested in the topic.  The SPP formats are roundtables. Registration to speak is not required. However, we ask that anyone participating in the discussion comment on the meeting topic.

Date: Nov. 13 (due to Veterans day, November's meeting is on a Tuesday)
Time: 6pm-8pm
Location: Auditorium, 440 North Broad Street, 2nd Fl, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Watch the meeting live on PSTV Comcast Channel 52, Verizon Fios Channel 20, or streaming online at http://www.philasd.org/stream.

Thank you.
