Global Game Jam Sites?

Hi Everybody,

I was wondering who was thinking about hosting for this year's Global Game Jam and I was curious if there might be demand for multiple sites? I've had some requests from students to host at Montgomery County Community College where I teach in Blue Bell, PA. We are west of the city and can host a site. If there are other sites thinking of hosting it might be helpful to have a site out this way for students that can't get to another location.

I'd definitely be down to partake in the Global Game Jam if it is taking place at Montco considering how close it is to me. I know a few others who would be interested in as well.

The College has given the go-ahead and I'm now waiting to speak with the regional coordinator for the GGJ to get their approval. We should be officially official within a few days (hopefully).

Once we have our site up I'll be sure to post back to the list and let everybody know. Thanks!

MCCC just got full approval and our site is up for registration at http://globalgamejam.org/2014/jam-sites/montgomery-county-community-college

We are definitely up for some friendly competition between Philly GGJ sites! Let me know if there is anything we can help out with.

Hi Bryan,

I don't think we will be a host site this year. My hope is to be back as a site in 2016. Last year wore me out as an organizer and I need to try to get some more help to run and plan the jam in the future. I want to make sure we can continue to improve upon our previous Jam experiences and to do so requires that we take this year to regroup.
