Blue Moon Halloween ride this Saturday at 8pm!

Hey there,

 

Just as a reminder in case you can make it the ride is on coming up on Saturday at 8pm.  Meeting point is the trellis (MLK Jr Drive under the Art Museum).  A lot going on in Philly/PA/USA/Solar system so a lot of reasons to ride.

Plan is still evolving (so in case you have a cool idea for a destination let me know.) In any case bringing a drink as back-up is always a good idea!

This year on Halloween we have a blue moon (i.e. the 2^nd full moon in a month. The next time this happens on Halloween will be 2039!).

 

How about a ride to make the best of this and enjoy some social randonneuring time before the chaos of November will descend on us.  

 

I also included the new Philly riders who rode in the brevets this weekend as Bcc.

 

I wanted to gauge interest and if you had thoughts or ideas about details!

We want to make a loop through a cemetery, plus some of us prefer to avoid riots and curfews so we now meet at 6pm at the trellis of MLK Jr Drive near the skater park. This is the route we'll be taking.

I believe the cemetery closes the gates early? Also, for the most part the city/curfew has been totally fine. I went for a ride last night. Ymmv.
