Blue Moon Halloween ride

This year on Halloween we have a blue moon (i.e. the 2^nd full moon in a month. The next time this happens on Halloween will be 2039!).

 

How about a ride to make the best of this and enjoy some social randonneuring time before the chaos of November will descend on us.  

 

I also included the new Philly riders who rode in the brevets this weekend as Bcc.

 

I wanted to gauge interest and if you had thoughts or ideas about details!

 

Let’s make it happen!

Woody and I would love to join. Perhaps a short ride to a clear hillside where we can bring-your-own-potion and share our favorite incantations? Hopefully the weather cooperates and the skies are clear.

We could tentatively plan on meeting at the trellis along MLK (by the Art Museum/skatepark) at 8PM?

Would moving it earlier to 6PM work for you? I was thinking of the following: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34550756

West Laurel Hill Cemetery closes at 7PM. So if we do coffee route out to Cynwyd Heritage Trail, cut through the cemetery to get our fill of ~spooky vibes~, we can either chill there until we get kicked out, or just ride through and then hang out at the 'town square' so people can make coffee or BYO pumpkin juice or whatever. How does that sound?
